1. What do you think of the commercial banks in South Africa? Are they doing a good job or are they ripping us off? They are ahead of their times compared to international banks, in terms of product offering. Their pricing is favourable for the well off and punitive for the poor.
2. What do you think of your current cellular network operator? Not too bad.
3. How many credit cards do you have and what do you mainly use them for? 2 – for purchases that would otherwise require cash (debit cards).
4. Do you shop online often? If not, why not? Yes.
5. Where do you think is the best city and suburb to stay in South Africa and why? Johannesburg, Saddelbrook. Its about quality of life.
6. What would you do with R20m? R19million buy shares and R1m settle debt.
7. Are those in charge of heading the South Africa economy doing a good job? What would you do if you were one of those in charge? They are doing a fantastic job. I would improve the pace of delivery for the poor and dramatically improve job creation opportunities.
8. What do you think should be done to alleviate the traffic problems in the major cities in South Africa? Improve public transport system and security.
9. What are your thoughts about the Soccer World Cup to be held in South Africa in 2010? It’s a wonderful opportunity to improve services, as well as to market the country. We saw it with the rugby world cup in 1995 and the African Cup in 1996.
10. If you could have any job in South Africa, which one would it be and why? Lecturer – educate the masses of young people.
11. Do you see the price of fuel reaching R20 a litre? If so what will happen then? At this rate it will. The economy will adjust price in line with the price.
